p.1 #1 · LR 4 & HDRs from CS6 failing?

If I grab three shots in LR and tell it to edit in CS6 via merge to HDR. Finish in CS6, hit save and return to LR, I'm presented with a black/blank photo. Obviously I'm doing something wrong, can somebody point to how to make this work? LR4 does support HDR files for CS6 doesn't it?

IS LR4 still open when you are done in CS6?

How are you saving the file in CS6?

Yes LR is still open. In CS6 just hitting save, same a normal. This process has always worked in previous LR and CS programs. It works with merge to panorama, but for some reason not with merge to HDR.

Works for me (lr4.3 and CS6). I am not aware of any options that you could have gotten wrong. I do not remember doing any setup for this. I select the images, right click, edit in/merge to HDR Pro in photoshop. To go back, I just close the image and select save.

Issue appears to be with saving. Std save button in CS6 writes out a psd file. It shows up in LR as a blank corrupt file. If I save it as a tiff in CS6 and then import it via LR everything works. Weird!

It seems I also cannot save a PSD!. I forgot that I changed the default format from PSD to TIFF (never tried the PSD option before now.
