Where do you meet? 119 Church St., Toronto?

I wouldn't dare drive into Toronto to attend the Toronto chapter meeting. i'd drive by too many camera stores and the temptation is.....well. The local chapter close to home is safer.

I thought I had a lot of bags, I was wrong!

Clik Elite Large Hiker Backpack (probably the worst pack I own, weighs a ton and doesn't carry that much.. but it got the job done in Africa)

Lowepro Trekker 400AW (my bag of choice)

Lowepro Slingbag

Cheap Amazon pack from when I was first starting out.

1. Lowepro Orion Trekker II backpack. I bought it in 2006 and it's been with me on every journey since - sometimes not as a photo backpack per se (see below) but for holding my other stuff (clothes, shaver, assorted chargers etc. It's in a pretty rough shape by now but it has seen all the places I've seen. I'll probably try to patch it up because I see no reason to discard it just yet.
2. Newswear.com Men's Digital Chestvest. I have it since July 2011 - ordered it specifically right before the trip to China. It's my primary bag for carrying gear around (unless I go out light with just the camera and the 24-85; in this case I'm using a basic shoulder bag which isn't even intended for photo stuff). But it's far easier to use in the working mode (strapped around my torso) than carrying it around (on the shoulder). Still, I have no real reasons to complain and will likely keep it indefinitely.

When it comes to my bigger top loading shoulder bags, of course, Tenba dominates, a couple of Kinesis bags, and one pathetic but very light Dumbke bag.
(The Dumbke bag had to be modified by a separately bought shoulder pad, and I had a shoemaker extend the strap length by about a foot....all in order to make it functional. Definitely not a recommended product, a ripoff, the worst bag I've ever had.)

BTW, I do not think Kinesis is such hot $hit either, and IMO it is Tenba, Think Tank and Lowepro that rule. Tamrac pod bags I like too, and they are very reasonably priced.

Tom, that would be a sickening sight, better not to share it on a general basis.

Peter, I could have helped save you some cash on those Tenba bags if I knew you had so many. Oh well!

Well, it's too late now , although I might need another one this year, or maybe not......depends on the 200-400L situation.

LowPro Back back, full on/note book etc. I use this one for my RZ67 film kit
Low Pro Sling bag, 350, use this for hiking with 5DMkII kit
Tamrac shoulder bags, I think 8 & 12 (the huge one). The little one for casual use of digital kit
The large one fro my Mamiya 645AFD kit.

Cheap Canon shoulder bag for my flash gear
Pelican case for a rafting trip someday

I'm still not caught up with my wife's purse collection. I told the folks at Coach that the should offer a camera bag line. I don't think they get it

ThinkTank StreetWalker Backpack (light bag, local)
ThinkTank StreetWalker Pro Backpack (cycling races)
ThinkTank Retrospective 30 (carry around, weddings)
ThinkTank UrbanDisguise 35 (light bag, local trips)
ThinkTank UrbanDisguise 40 (use more for non-camera gear when traveling)
ThinkTank AirportAntidote v2 (favorite for air travel)
LowePro Nature Trekker (rarely use)
10 Pelican/Calumet Hardside Cases for storage and transport (storage and travel)
A couple small Lowepro bags for G10 and Point and Shoots

when traveling by plane will usually carry on Airport Antidote and an Urban Disguise and will check a Pelican 1510 with additional gear with dividers or a loaded bag inside without dividers.

when traveling by car will load up some Pelicans with gear and whatever soft bag(s) I may think I need.

store most camera gear in wall cabinet or Pelican cases.

4x LowePro shoulder bags
1 x LowePro backpack
1 x other photo backpack
1 x Pelican case
1x Rimowa case
some other photo bags

I bough only one of these bags new.

I use the Lowe shoulder bags often.
And when I use much gear I carry a lot of it in a trolley, for example with one of the big white FD lenses inside, monopod or tripod, and probably a small bag. And one of the Lowe bags for camera and main lenses.

I've got one big one that I "make" work for my long lenses and it also can hold the rest of my stuff - mainly gets used as a way to consolidating all my gear when I go somewhere - can't really haul that huge bag around hiking. I really do want a nice shoulder bag. maybe a crumpler

Have quite a few

- thinkTANK Retro 7 for Fuji Mirrorless with 4 lenses
- thinkTANK Retro 20 for my everyday walk arround (Canon gripped body with 3 lenses typically)
- thinkTANK Streetwalker Pro or 1D Mark iV and sports shooting
- thinkTANK belt system used for events
- thinkTANK AirPort Extreme for home storage and possible long trip
- thinkTANK Glass Taxi for 300mm f2.8
- thinkTANK Holster 50 when I just take a body and 70-200
- thinkTANK Streetwalker HD for travel but its not working out. Don't like how it divides up
- thinkTank Urban Disguise 40 but not being used (replaced by Retro 7)
- Lowepro Nova 200 to hold three speed lights, triggers, flash brackets, etc.
- LowePro Nova 180 (conventional shoulder not in use)

I own two - but I really only use my Lowepro backpack. The Tamrac backback I have hasn't seen the light of day in years. I used to use it when I brought my laptop with me, but since I usually wait until I get home from trips, I don't bother lugging my MBP with me anymore. Plus, the Tamrac is probably big enough to fit me in it if I wanted to. My lowepro isn't as big and bulky as my Tamrac, so it's easier to take on the plane and still fit all my lenses, camera body, and other electronics I bring with me (iPod Touch, iPhone, Kindle, etc.).
