I have recently upgraded to a 1D body and none of my bags fit this beast very well (With a 70-200) mounted. I have been looking at the Airport Essential by Think Tank, but I do not know if it will fit in there. All the reviews I have seen says it holds a Standard SLR body, but some people have been putting gripped SLR bodies into the bag. Does anyone have this bag and is able to fit a 1D in there safely?
Please bump up to the Airport Commuter. The Essentials will leave you wanting more space with that 1D body. The Commuter's straps are also more heavily padded, and it also is compatible with our Thin Skin and Pro Speed Belts in case you want to either add more waist support or put components on the belt so that you don't have to remove your backpack each time you want to access a lens, water bottle or memory card.
