It looks like Samsung has a real winner on their hands. Right in line with their excellent 30/2 and 85/1.4 (16/2.4 is no slouch either). Excellent IQ from a small and light lens for APS-C mirror-less. Were talking a $300 lens here, lens hood and pouch included

All samples were from an NX20. The samples also show the potential IQ of the camera. The lens will also be available in a true 3D version for $600 (requires upcoming Samsung 3D camera body).

So they are making a non-3D version too? Good news. They do indeed make some very nice primes.

The 3D version can also be used as a non-3D lens, but yeah, there's a strictly non-3D version as well.

It would be interesting to do a shootout...

NEX-7 with SEL35F18 and SEL50F18 vs NX20 with the 30/2 and 45/1.8.
