Lot of things to like in this pic, but in a pic like this, I think the model needs to be in focus from head to toe. Really like the lighting and how she's set off from the darker background. Nice job!

The 50mm f/1.2 has such a narrow DOF it is hard to get a shot like this in focus from head to toe.

If you shoot at f/8, it doesn't open up the DOF? I've got an 85 f/1.4 G and I'm able to getting a deeper DOF when I need it.

Nice photo!
I agree with friscoron on DOF part and you should be able to get her all in focus at around f/4-5.6 compared to shot EXIF settings of f/1.2
OP didn't mention anything about C&C but I will mention anyway: little detail that bugs me is the hard shadow across her right boot otherwise great shot!

Cheers!

This one I used 2 lighting to try effect one from the flash, one from a gold reflector (source from sun light)

Very pretty model, but you already knew that!

In the close-up, the color of the her hair roots (where she parts it) should be modified to match the rest of her hair. It's also quite apparent that her left eye is considerably smaller than her right eye. One solution is to have her turn her head in more of a 2/3 view, with her right eye further away from the camera. It's very noticeable in the close-up, even though she's close to the 2/3 view. The bit of hair that covers her right eyebrow and upper eyelid might be making it look worse than it actually is.

You Canon shooters with the 600EX's must be sticking your tongues out at those of us that shoot Nikon.

Nice shots, as others have pointed our I would have liked all of her in focus on the first, The boots been OOF are a little distracting. Lighting is beautiful by the way.

Very nice set, the HS one is my best choice, the only nitpick is the small hair strand going up from her left eye. Good luck with the new toys
