p.1 #1 · Light Mantled Sooty Albatross, South Georgia
These birds nest on cliffs. There are no colonies, but there may be several on one cliff face if conditions are right. They seem to be doing quite well.
I had to climb up 12 metres (40') to get these shots. I'm not a climber, so it wasn't really dangerous!!!!! Thanks for looking. Don

A treat to see something from this part of the world.
The last shows the bird best, but I enjoy the more environmental comps as well.
Nice series.

Suspiciously similar to another post by you Don. Still looks good.
Sorry people. My internet sucks; living in the country. Somehow this one came out twice. I tried to delete one but was unable. Bad connection. I apologize. Glad you like them. Don

Be careful climbing or you'll wind up like Conrad!
Terrific pics with super composition Don!
Your pics are like gumbo. They are better the second time.
Best,

I've never seen this species before, Don, and you've given me a treat.
Exotic location, incredibly beautiful birds, and terrific shooting and processing.
Doesn't get any better than that!
