Fosdinovo Offline • • Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #1 · Snow Queen and Kai As many of you know, The Snow Queen is a fairy tale by H.C.Andersen and centers on the struggle between good and evil as experienced by a little boy and girl, Kai and Gerda. In this studio picture are the "Snow Queen" and "Kai". The picture was made just for the fun of making it (and for my part to try some lighting things). As the main light I used a 70cm Elinchrom Rotalux (Deep) without the fabrics just with a deflector, as a kind of a beauty dish. Also, I think adding the background to the photo making (your intro remarks at top) is a good thing to do! One thing: What is happening (in the story of your photo) in this moment shown? Is the boy supposed to be asleep, bored, afraid, praying, etc? As shown, it appears he is oblivious to the Snow Queen. Jan 31, 2013 at 05:44 PM
