Today I stopped by the Connecticut Antique Machinery Museum in Kent.
Misty, foggy day, the lone train on the track caught my attention.

looks like you visited a great museum, and came away with a super shot. the processing certainly fits the image and scene.

Thanks Scott.
No dodging, The only thing I have done in PS was resize and sharpen and adding the frame.
Everything else ( tone, curves, etc) was done in ACR.

This is a very nice image that captures every aspect of the visit... the weather, the light, the isolation of the lone engine... It has great leading lines converging on the right... that keep your eyes moving into the frame. Who could ask for more? Thanks for sharing this.

So my question came from the wonderful light and how much you were able to paint with light vs the "find" and careful eye in timing and composition.
When I looked at your recent Chinatown portrait I went to your link to see how it is done. And I was amazed at the starting point and transformation, including the knowledge, skill and talent to paint with light across the face. While you generously offered information on your link, to me it felt like a great painter saying here is the canvas I use, the brushes and paints, and the subject. You are truly an artist.
