Nice choice of background! Too bad you couldn't get the colors to match the cars!

Looks great! I would love to shoot that race. Something to aspire to, right?

Actually, the bad shots get the most comments most of the time. I like the color and exposure on these.

Great shots! I always love the look of nigh time mixed light racing shots, gives them much more character.

I've shot the Rolex series before but not the 24 and not at night and your shots just moved it up a few notches on my bucket shoot list, lol...

Thanks for all the nice comments. I have been going to races all my life but this was my first 24 hour race. Anyone who is remotely considering going to a 24hr race needs to move it to the top of the bucket list and just do it!

The shots were taken with a D300s, 70-200VR. Most of them are near 200mm 800iso, 60th @ 2.8 taken standing on a random nice guys golf cart to get over the fence. The golf carts are not nearly as steady as one might think when standing on the seat with three other people shooting.
