Some friends and I are looking at options for a 3 week or so trip that covers the Falklands (Malvinas), South Georgia Island, and some part of Antarctica. Photography will be the main reason to do this trip.
Question is - do any of you have recommendations and maybe some experiences to share, both good and bad, regarding different companies that do these trips? There is a good, long list of companies that will be happy to take our money but I would love to narrow down to a few good companies to start looking at.
Items that I think are important - 1) good environmental ethic, 2) selects sites and stays ashore based on giving photographers plenty of time, 3) small enough boat so that shore visits are not too over crowded, 4) comfortable accommodations, good food and beverages. Anything I missed?
