p.1 #1 · Leaning tower of bricks

Not sure what the purpose is but I don't think it's a chimney.
Thanks for looking. Comments are always welcome.

Curvature of the fence post, or the apprentice brick layer's fist effort

Hmmm... interesting find.

I've seen this type of thing in old houses in upstate New York - the mason would angle the chimney to exit the roof at or near the apex. Can't say I've seen one of these on the ground. Stone henge ...

Thank you Ray, John and Jeffrey.

Hi there, Scott.
I shot this in a forest with abandoned scale models of waterworks.
The bricks made no sense to me. I guess there are some missing parts here.

Lazlo, now that the snow and ice are gone I probably should go back and check again.

Chris, that is a fascinating image. It has the look of faux bricks made of rubber ...a great illusion. I suspect this bricklayer may have gotten his training/inspiration from looking at the Leaning Tower of Pisa

Thank you Eric.
There was another tower of bricks but too far away to be once connected with.
If I revisit one day I will try to solve the mystery.

I love this, Chris.
Betcha'll never solve the mystery.
Because I think someone was just having some fun .
It looks too carefully made to be the act of an unskilled worker.
