Here is my set up but I usually have a flash bracket with sb-900 on it and external Calumet Battery just on that day
I shot a different location and I didn't use flash.
I just upload it 4 shot of my set up from lock 14 of my current set up.
Thanks to my friend Wes who took the pictures of me and my gear.
here is the list of my equipment because I know some of you ask.

Brilliant shorts I must say. Over here in Belgium we don't have the luxury on having the eagles and these are the best I have seen in a long time.
I have however 2 questions if I may
1. On the picture 0096 I see at the bottom of the camera body a plate. Again on the bottom I see a bolt like "thing" that seem to touch the lens collar (optical illusion or not) but what is the purpose of this 'thing"? Never seen it before.
EDIT: see on another picture the metal piece is not touching the lens collar
2. Is the flash a much needed tool for this photography? How strong is the output of this flash? Is it to freeze the moment or to eradicate possible shadows?
Very nice shots. I can't wait till you and all the others start posting the action from this year. There was a comment made from last year about the multiple eagle shot being a photoshop. I wondered if it was a PS or there really were that many going after the one with the fish?
