p.1 #1 · WTF am I doing wrong?

I feel stupid bringing this up but... I can't get photos from LR in my iMac to show up on an iPad using SD cards. I can open the SD card after moving photos there and they are there, but they don't show up on the iPad OR the camera (NEX 5N). Taking photos with the camera and then going straight to the iPad works fine. Please help.

Did the camera put the images on the SD card or did you put them there using a computer? If the later, did you use the same folder structure that the camera uses? The images will only be found inside a DCIM folder on the SD card.

Thank you Art. It was the old DCIM trick that got me. I'd completely forgotten about that. Looks as if I may be the "older fossil" here.

Use Itunes to put images on the Ipad and it will work fine
You can also put the apps in Itunes on the Imac.
