I will be getting married that day and would like to spend about $450 for the ceremony and a part of the reception. I know the budget is minimal, but I am only looking for someone to take photographs of the event - no post-processing necessary (maybe one or two to keep). I would love to do the work myself, but being the groom...it will not be possible. I can do all the post-processing work myself, so in reality pics of the event is all I need. There is nothing wrong to start cheap when one just starts the business. To the OP, just be aware of the risk when you are hiring an inexperienced photographer for one of the biggest events of the life time. Make sure go through the portfolios carefully.
