Scott Kroeker Offline • • • • Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #1 · Waves of Light Due to a longer then wanted extremely cold stretch of weather I haven't had many opportunities nor desire to get out to shoot. I did take a short sunset drive a little while back and even though I was wearing boots rated for -60 my feet were VERY cold! Luckily I had the car nearby. Which I almost couldn't get into as my key-fob remote froze and wouldn't unlock the car. I had to use the key setting off the alarm. Thankfully I was able to thaw the remote and get the car started. Ya, it was that damn cold! :S My goal was to photograph snow drifts in the sunset light. Here are my results. Post processed for impact! Hope you enjoy! Thanks for looking! Jan 27, 2013 at 02:33 AM

Heinz This a multi shot blend for dynamic light but not for focus. I sharpened the foreground significantly using the High Pass filter sharpening method. Then masked it in on the foreground only.
