Taken several years ago, I believe in 2007 or something like that?
Converted in Silver Efex Pro.

Looks like a cool piece of engineering you captured well.
The processing looks very appropriate.

Thanks Chris, I believe it is the exhaust from an F-16 or F-14. It was a long time ago.

I can see that there are two of them so that would indicate that it is not an F-16 as they are single engine aircraft. Nice capture regardless.

I realized after I posted that! Doh. I found the image I took before taking the image of the exhaust, it's from an F-14.

Treebeard, I hate to break it too you but there's an arrestor hook between the two closely positioned F404 engines. The F14's was under the belly. May I suggest this is an F-18?

YA F15 for sure. F-14s have the engines under each tailplane. It is a nice shot of the nozzle though.

Thanks for the clarification. I feel like a goofball for not knowing my jets!

Pratt F100-PW100 series on the F15. GE also made an competing equivalent called the 110. they always removed the "eagle feathers" from the engines augmenter section (AB exhaust) because they sorta came off on their own occasionally. weight reduction too.

Cool shot. Great angle. Details is excellent and I really like the processing, minus the smudgy top corners.

Thanks...did not pay attention to the smudgy top corners! Thanks for pointing that out!
