I'm looking to pick up a used D300s and was wondering what a good price was. Some nice ones on the B&S forum sold around $750 +/- This sounds like a good price since a new one is around $1600.
^ I don't see that one, but one sold a couple weeks ago for $850... only that one was practically brand new. It was actually almost indistinguishable from new, I think it had something absurd like 1k actuations and the pictures indicated that it may as well have been sitting in a box since it was new.
If the camera has 5k or more actuations and/or any markings at all, I'd say $875 is too much.
I just paid $600 for aa nice one with shutter count of 34k, there are some good deals out there and think the D300s is a great value. I just sold my mint one w/ nikon grip and 10k count for $900. I would expect to pay between 600-700 depending on condition.
