Technically, probably not, and I see this with my images, the post process software says that it isn't blown, but it looks blown on screen.
I agree! that's part of the appeal of "Golden Light".
Lance - you're right - the whites may look blown, but that can easily have to do with a mis-calibrated monitor as well. Mine passes the calibration criteria with flying colors.

Ted did you read my introduction
Yes you're seeing things in multiples - - the introduction explains why....

Quang,
I don't know - gray point is different I think. I was taught to use White & Black Points....
Which software are you using
Lil
Lil,
I am using CS6. White/Black points does give a bit different result then what I was using.
I think you right, I am gonna start using white/black points. Maybe it's more accurate if I use all three points?? ...

Am I seeing things in threes? Excellent work Lil!
Lil:
To elaborate on my original post.....First, the threes...I was joking. Sorry you did not pick up on that. Second, I usually don't like to critique. If most is right about a particular shot, it is hard for me to tell you what is best when the variations are slight. IMO, the subtleties of PP most of the time is the authors preference.
I would choose #1, 7 and 9 of your variations. Your silhouette is excellent.

Thanks Ted,
Jokes can be hard to "get" online. Like I wrote in the PM - I think I now have a total of 3 people in the forum I hide from. I don't get them so better not read what they write....
This wasn't much for critique - - more a discussion/communication/thinking out loud thing
Thanks for your picks & I so appreciate you like the silhouette
