p.1 #1 · The amorous hawks

You know me. I have been stocking these birds in the last 3 years at least. The hawks are mostly loners. They hunt alone. But now is the time to start a new family, that require new babies. So here is the first time i see these together and what a scene they did.

Nice sequence. These look a bit cold; you may want to increase the WB and decrease the saturation and the sharpening. Don

I agree with Don's assessment Bob. It is a really neat sequence that you captured here.
I think the White Balance is too cool/blue and could benefit from a warmer WB which would be more natural IMHO.
I also agree that they appear a bit over-sharpened, especially #1.

I have learned and improved so much in large part to the constructive feedback I have received on my images. I offer this feedback as just food for thought in the hope that it might be beneficial to you.

Thanks for posting this amorous sequence.

You sure know the birds. One year one new generation. Like the clock, they get together in fall, making babies, taking care of them until they can fly away and live by themselves in Spring. They all go their way living alone until fall, when they get together to breed the next generation of birds.
Miracle of nature.

Really nice sequence, I really like the compositions as they are great individually but make a great story too. I do think that you can decrease the sharpening a bit.
