It has been a while since I have had any pictures to post.
Yesterday on a hike, the first hike of the new year, I was walking down a stream that was for the most part melted, except for small patches of ice.
These patches of ice had an attractive feature about them, small rocks that were frozen into the ice with the tops sticking out, my thought was that the rocks soaked up more sun then the ice, making the ice around the rocks melt but not the entire sheet of ice.
Unfortunately, when I got on the computer I found out that there was only one picture that I liked.
