exactly what i said, i would offer him a 1K round trip tickets to your closest airport plus the 2K for his perfect lens, so you can pick it up safely in your town

A very decent one should be around $3,700-$4,000.
However, some folks around here have done better than that.

It's ironic that somebody with such a fine optic to sell would post such terrible images. Looks like they were taken with a cellphone. The box image is the best of the lot...

Don't bother Peter. The bid is now higher than the original Buy It Now Price. It's not that good of a deal anymore. Save your money when you buy your 200-400 and yo9ur backup 200-400.
