I am glad I'm not in the minority in thinking 5Dc + some good glass would be a great way to go.
When I sold my M4/3 kit with plans of getting back into CaNikon, "which body?" was a hard decision. I labored over it for about 2 weeks, and finally went with the 6D, only because I could (barely! haha) afford it.
Had that not been in the cards, I certainly would've gotten a 5Dc and some nice glass.
Who knows what Id get but I'll say 40d, ultrawide and macro. 18-55 IS, 75-300 Tamron my old one very sharp to 200mm. Like 180 Tamron and 11-16 Tokina but might
have to get either 90-105 macro or 11-18 Tamron to stay below $1500.
Hasselblad 500CM with a couple Zeiss lenses. Maybe the 180mm Sonnar f4 lens and/or 120mm f4 makro planar and/or the 60mm Distagon f3.5 lens... or really any lens combination you find for the right deal. (pick 1 or 2)
OR
I'd find a stellar deal on a Hasselblad 38mm SWC. When I first started reading up on them I saw one go one ebay for about $1500. Being the first one I saw I figured that was a standard price for them.
