Very, very nice! I love this expression, and a nice tilt of the head.

Nice. The black background really pops her hair. Of course THAT hair would pop anyplace.

Thank you everyone!!! I appreciate the comments very much!! she is awesome to take pictures of.. She is very animated so I just roll with it and hope I get the focus on the eyes! ahha... some of the pics I loved, the point of focus didn't quite reach the eyes because of how much she was doing! hard to keep up!

Anyone have an idea that miht make it easier to keep the focus on one general area? instead of constantly having to half press and pray..

I have the 6D btw(present from my husband, so sweet!)

i usually keep a single AF point on the eyes, and will toggle to servo when the subject is moving a bit too much. and even then i usually try to get off a few frames. there's no magic bullet in these scenarios, especially if you're shooting REALLY shallow DoF at like f/1.4-f/2 or something.

i'm not sure where the button is on the 6d, but on the 5d3 the DoF preview button can be reprogrammed to be a servo toggle switch, and i can just use my right index finger to switch to servo at the drop of a hat when needed. i bet you can do something like this on the 6d.

re: the image, it's great as others have said. only thing i might suggest is cropping a bit of the dead space off the top. maybe try a 5x7 aspect ratio or something. i feel like there's too much blackness just hanging up there. but other than that it's great.

thanks goose!! The 6D is quite different form my 40D, so I am still getting used to where things are. I am going to try switching to the single AF point, see if that helps me a bit, it tends to toggle a lot between them, I will look and see how to switch the servo button to be more accessible. thank you!
