Happy days are here again, the sun is out, the rain has stopped and the birds are loving it.

The rufous are still here and the males are so colorful especially when the sun strikes the gorgeous iridescence
of the gorget .

While looking for the hummers, I was surprised by a juvenile or female pine warbler . Please let me know if my id is not correct.

I know the shadows from the sun are not helping some of the shots, but it was so nice to be in the sun

As always your suggestions are so appreciated.

Very nice set, Birdie with some bright blue

You got some very sharp detail in these.
Your last one looks like an American Goldfinch to me. Warblers have a thinner and more pointed beak.

Lovely set Roberta.
I especially like the first one, because it captured the little bird at a special moment, relaxing and enjoying the warmth of the sun for a moment.
I know that feeling, because I love these moments myself sooooooo much

Wow, super nice detail in these Birdie... he looks a little sleepy in a couple of these.

Wonderful look at the Goldfinch too.

Love the detail in all of these shots, but I must agree with the majority that #4 is the best of the lot. Great framing, sharp detail and a perfectly OOF background to minimize distractions. Beautiful.

I like all of these equally, Birdie.
At first I thought you had caught a blink. Then another one and I decided the birds were dozing.
As quickly as hummers do everything else, I assume they take "power naps." Sleep for 10 seconds and wake up refreshed

I too like the last two the best. I'll tell you why I don't like the first three

I'm not a big fan of closed eyes, sometimes yes I do like them, but most of the time not. 2 looks soft to me.

Keep in mind, focus on the eye
