I think it's pretty nice. I'd like to see the 4 signs cloned out, though - it kind of ruins the painterly effect and makes it look more like a photo. Similarly, I'd darken the utility wires - just sticks out too much for my tastes.
But overall, I really like it. Sure doesn't look like the Florida I know
Composition is nice -- echo billk55's comments on the cloning. Perhaps even the utility pole could go and it would take this photo back a number of years
