I'm looking to learn about "photomicroscopy". That means photos through a microscope. Kind of taking "macros" to the next level down and shooting red blood cells, yeast and the like.
If I do a Google search I get many hits. No lack of information. What I want to ask here is if there is a really good reference I could look at. Or even better a very active forum filled with people who do this kind of work.
I'm a science teacher and I want to make some very high quality photos using a nikon dSLR. Much of what we see on-line is just "web resolution" and I want better quality on photo paper.
Like everything else it is the details that matter, how the slides are lit, the stains used, how you have prepared the specimen and so on. It's these details I'm looking for.
Maybe some one here knows of a good book, a good on-line forum and web site
