Indonesians eat a lot of rice .

Yup.. I eat a lot of rice. Funny how Americans eat rice as the "side dish". When I eat rice, it is like 75% of the meal lol.

Thanks Dein, Robin and Jim.
Americans whose ancestors came from Europe tended to eat potatoes instead of rice. Those from Latin American countries added spice to everything except ice cream (), those from eastern Asia ate a lot of rice. And those from other parts of the world brought their eating habits with them.
We are a mixture of the world's people and of the world's cuisine (although grilled insects hasn't really caught on yet ).
