Very nice. I'm a sucker for these types of shots. The second would also look good as a square crop.

Now that is a cool looking tree you found there. Both of these are very nice. Now in #1 the vignetting looks natural, but in #2 if you look at the upper corners you will see some slight vignetting that you should remove.

I liked the way the colors changed in the sky so left it like that, will try a square crop when i get home tonight.

Thanks Jim,
The tree looks great and was very happy to have come across it, was hoping to get a nice red sky as usual in this time of year for us but it wasn't to be. The vignette is distracting now that you have pointed it out.
