Christmas Eve at the in-laws saw about 4-5 inches of snowfall. Fortunately the following morning was very clear so I decided to go out for sunrise. The conditions were great with low clouds hanging over the Clearwater Canyon (I've seen this before during the morning hours, but haven't photographed it yet). I had a predetermined high vantage point. Here are two shots from that morning. These were shot with an "unusual" landscape lens: 400 f/5.6L. Any and all C&C is very welcome.
(This area is known as the Camas Prairie in Idaho. It is between Lewiston/Clarkston and Grangeville).
