p.1 #1 · Brain Rocks at South Coyote Buttes

Another image of the brain rocks at South Coyote Buttes lit up by the setting sun rays. I wish there were some clouds in the background, but it is what it is.

Thank you for your time and comments.

Hey Maji,

A very nice composition of the brain rocks. It's a pain when no clouds show up. But this is still nice, I would suggest pulling down on the midtones just a bit more as I don't quite get the sunsetting feel as I see this.

Clouds or not it's a fine image. Good texture redition and I like that there's detail in the shadows.

AMaji,
I really like this.
Even though there is no strong side-light to give us strong shadows, you've managed to convey the idea of texture beautifully. Not always an easy thing to do.
And the colors are excellent.

Thank you guys for your kind words.

Jim... for the less technically inclined like myself, what does pulling down the mid tones mean?

Thank you everyone again.
