p.1 #1 · No fog...

So last week I went to the CES in Las Vegas. On the way I was able to spend a little time in Death Valley. Even after seeing all the amazing photos of this place I was still not prepared for its enormity and visual impact. One shot from Zabriskie point. It's not much compared to the images I've seen posted here but one has to start somewhere. C&C welcome.

That's a very nice different take from DV. I like the layers you have in this.

I too like the comp and light a lot.
It feels a wee bit soft to my eyes. Do you have room for a little more sharpening? Not too much, now.

What is CES?
btw, It is gorgeous layered shot from Zabriskie Point.
Was it sunrise or sunset?

As other have said, there are nice layers going on in this one. I might look at warming up the foreground elements just a bit. It might do well to "bookend" the warmth of the light on the top of the image (although it will still be less "warm" on the foreground).

This image doesn't do much for me. Maybe if there was a bit of a fog it would look realistic

Thanks for the feedback! Alas, I'm not sure how much fog actually shows up in DV.
