p.1 #1 · Last shots with the Nikon 200-400 f4 VR

On Thursday, I took my last pictures with my Nikon 200-400 f4 VR. I've been really happy with the lens but my desire for a Nikon 400mm f2,8 VR has become too big to resist. So now the 200-400 is sold and on the road to a new owner Last job with it was a hockey game in the top division here in Sweden. D3s with 200-400 f4 VR and D700 with 70-200 f2,8 VR II. ISO 2500 to 4000.

Man, they do know how to do lighting in Sweden's arena... 4000ISO / 1/640 @ F/4 I am jealous.

Great photos too ;-)

Yea, tell me about it... I'm jealous of all the light!

I'm seriously considering doing the opposite of that you're doing! I don't seem to use my 400 2.8 a lot these days and the versatility of the 200-400 piques my interest...

BTW.... Killer shots!
