p.1 #1 · 1DX and 200/2 & 800/5,6

I know the 200/2 and 800/5,6 lenses needs service by Canon for the IS if you bought the 5D3. I bought the 1DX a few weeks ago. But I'm staying in Bangkok a few months and my 200 & 800 lenses are in Sweden. Do they work in the 1DX or is it the same as with the 5D3

I had issues with both 5D3 and 1DX with the 800. The images are fine, just extra noise and seeing vibration through the VF. All good after service.

I know you didn't ask about the 800 and 5DIII but the 800 seems to work okay with one of my 5DIIIs, I haven't tried the other one yet.

My 200/2 worked just fine, but I had it fixed anyway. Now it works fine with the 5D3, too.

grabbed my 200 f/2 to local camera shop to play with 1dx last week... no issue with IS. never got my lens sent in since I returned the 5D3 to purchase 1D4. 800.... I can only dream.

My 800's part of the recall so I skipped the 5D3. I hope the upcoming bodies are similarly exempt from this 5D3 flaw.
