I am surprised no one has yet commented on your photos. In my opinion, #2 is stunning. The rails lit by the fading sunlight themselves fading into the horizon is dramatic. Excellent in my view. #1 is also very good, but I am struck by #2.

Sigh! Beautiful shots. I used to live in Texas and miss it because of the drama that these photos depict. But I don’t miss the heat, humidity, tornadoes, hail, politics. . . .

Very nice. I like #1 a lot, just wish it was a tad wider on the left, so the tree doesn't touch the edge.

Thanks for the kind comments. I'll take a look at the originals and see if there is one where the tree clears the edge.

I just happened upon this scene trying to avoid highway traffic one evening.

Yikes!

Love them - both symbolize Texas to me . Great skies, great colors. I used to go to Arlington/DFW area once a year and miss it!
