From the May 2011 visit to Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park. I'm about 280 feet below sea level here! A few hours before this it was snowing up on Dante's Peak, and then we even got a few raindrops here at Badwater....crazy weather that just adds to the excitement!
cheers Andrew
PS as per a couple of suggestions, I've lightened the tops of the mountains just a bit...thanks for the input!
Andrew, you captured a very dramatic scene in this great light. Love it.
My only nit would be to brighten up the mountain tops just a little bit.
Chris
Very nice Andrew and different. Most people who take bad water pictures almost include the salt flats as the main subject. You've got the mountains as the main subject which is a nice change from the usual pics we see of that place.
