Love that last shot! Still watching the local nests? I haven't seen much activity yet, other than the pair at the Mason City water treatment plant has returned. Their nest is pretty well screened by trees but they were in trees by the fishing turnout Sunday and I managed to get a semi-decent shot of the male.
I have not been to any of the local nest sites lately but they should get active pretty soon. I will check out the water treatment plant site. Thanks for the info.

D800 may be slow but it sure nailed these!
Thank you Burt. Do you want to trade your D4 for D800?

See you on Saturday.
