p.1 #1 · Frozen Dream Lake in B&W

From Dream Lake, Rocky Mountain NP. I took the 1st shot about 2 weeks before the 2nd one, both back in November last year when the lake was starting to really freeze over. Can't wait to go back soon to check out the snow.

Normally not a fan of B&W but I thought these seemed to work better than the color versions. I also thought #1 looked better in sepia than normal B&W. Any C&C would be appreciated.

I prefer the BW shot to the sepia, which is rather lacking in contrast.

Dang, that water looks like it's still churning and roiling, even though it's frozen! Makes it look like a very uninviting landscape.
