My son and I decided to fly out to Nevada and shoot over the Christmas break from his school and double as a 21st birthday gift belated to go and shoot in DV and VOF over the break and then spend the New Year in LV taking in a show and some slots. I was amazed at the amount of traffic in the Valley of Fire Christmas day. Additionally the amount of people who wouldn't read signs, or observe the park rules. This series is from early to late in the afternoon.
Looks like you came away with a very nice set of images. I was also there last week for the two days following your visit and got a shot of my daughter standing in the leading lines in #4.
Sounds like a great time, I am glad you walked away with good memories. Nice set, a different perspectives on the fire wave, I like that. I tried and failed in my attempts. Rick
