I like the second shot. Cropped out head in first one is not appealing to my eye. Good lighting and PP.

+2 and with the first one, the body twist does not work. The second one captures her beauty quite nicely.

I agree. Like #2.

#2 could use a better crop too. Cutting along an arm isn't best.

+1, totally agree, nice image but the necklace just grabs your attention. Beautiful wife by the way and if the images don't turn out I am quite certain you still have a nice smile on your face, lucky guy!

Spencer, she is stunning. And whatever "rules" may have been broken in crop or positioning, to my eye both shots work beautifully.

With the tight crop and strong diagonals, 1 becomes a soft, sensual graphic (I have to remember this one). 2 is just a really lovely portrait.

Though #2 is better I also like #1. I do like the twist. It gives it some motion of passion to me.

I've gotta go with the first one as the better of the two. While it's not a "portrait" in the conventional sense, the lines, curves, textures and juxtaposition of light and dark with just the right contrast was masterful. The contrast in the second one is too harsh to suit my taste. Different strokes, right?

You have a wonderful model with whom to work. Congratulations to you both for making some excellent art here.
