Hi everyone, it's been a while since I posted here.
It has become a kind of family tradition for me to pack my camping gear and give the wife and kids a break from my constant complaining and head off over New Years on a solo photo trip. This year I decided to head down to Port Campbell on the south coast of Victoria, home of the Twelve Apostles.
I have been there several times over the past few years, usually to find flat, grey light or winds so strong it's a battle to stand upright, and no worthwhile photos have been taken down there by me for a long time.
I think I fared a little better this time. Let me know what you think.

Hey Wayne,

Man, for having been skunked in the past, you sure made up for it this trip. Wow!!! You have some really incredible shots here. I think I will pick #1 and 4 as my favorites too, but really all 4 of these really are special. Way to go!

Hmm.... still looking at these...

If I had to pick one... boy... it might just have to be #4... but man... I wouldn't want to have to pick one... I think I would have to pick all four...

Fantastic post-processing work! Beautiful colors. You are so lucky. When I was there for a week in Dec 2011, it rained the whole time.

Beautiful photos Wayne. My fav here is 3.

1 would be my fav but there are a couple of things that my eyes and mind keep fighting with to fully enjoy. Now this is just personal taste but I am not a fan of the somewhat heavy vignetting in the corners. When I try to just enjoy the image as a whole my eyes are fighting between the top left corner (sun and dark cloud and their reflections) and the rest of the image. It feels like an image with an inset image. Tweaking the vignetting would help with that a bit but I would like to see that area lightened to balance with the overall image. Again, just personal preference. This image is still great on many levels and the light and clouds are to die for.

One small issue with 4 is the horizon is not level.

All of them are fantastic. I think #1 is my favorite, not just for the sky but I love the subdued colors and detail of the foreground vegetation.
