Here are 2 photos from 2 different photo excursions.

Lets just say I almost froze taking these. The first I got ice cold water in the boots getting the perspective I wanted and the second the wind-chill was so cold I thought my nose was going to fall off!

I remember walking around the ice art festival in Fairbanks, AK. Hours in the sub-zero temperatures simply destroyed batteries and hands. The cold often steals a person's will to stay. Congratulations on the two excellent captures -- well done!
