p.1 #1 · College Hockey - GLI Detroit, MI

Here are a few of my favorites from the Great Lakes Invitational. This years tournament featured four Michigan teams: Michigan Tech (host), Michigan, Michigan State, and Western Michigan. I was only able to photograph three of the four games due to my kids being sick, and subsequently passing it on to me.

I would love to hear anything you have to say about them.

All images were with the 5D3 and 70-200 IS II - ISO 3200, 1/800, 3.5 (I think).

I could have gone with a lower ISO, but I like the faster shutter speed. Games were played at Joe Louis Arena, so there was NHL lighting.

Im sure thats the best option,I have to shoot at iso6400 to get around 1/640-1/800 any less and you cant stop the action at this level !

NHL lighting.....now theres something for the Lottery win list !
