We all know that Morris has a unique style that makes us rethink what is "good", (or unique ), and what is not.
So lets see what you have that is different.

I'll start off with 2, and thanx Morris for helping me to "see" better ~ Ron

Here are a couple of my images which display the Morris effect. I certainly think of alternate approaches of capturing a scene due to those on this forum, especially Morris.

1. Misty Morris - only thing missing is the waterfowl

2. Blurry Morris - hummer with flash and ambient (previously posted)

I was honored when you wrote asking if it was OK to start this thread Ron. I used to take very mechanical technical perfect portraits and while my work was well appreciated it was not going any ware. I realized that there is an incredible collection of stock wildlife and nature photos and to be noticed your work must stand out. I chose to apply my art and theater lighting background to my photography and started experimenting. The result is my work winning many awards and being published numerous times.

A few examples of my vision:

It is my pleasure to share Ron. I like the unique angle and tone of the first, I love the lighting and fog in the second.

I've done plenty of images of fog and love that first one Ken. The second is a great demonstration of methods I use

I'm not sure that my mind even can comprehend how you see what you see. Maybe it is because MY job requires me to be precise to a fault and blurred images get me in trouble.
But here are a few I thought of that might fit the bill. And your winning images are just that....WINNING!
Eric

Ok, time for more comments. Morris. That anhinga in the fog is super wonderful. Wow. It has become my #2 all time Morris fave after the backlit great egret.

Birdie, your abstract sunset is super too.

To be honest, I didn't know where the Morris effect works best but your second picture (the one with the ducks) explains the significance of it really well. Thank you so much, all your images help me learn so much!

This is my meager contribution to this thread. Of course these pics are not up to Morris standards.
