The Colorado River was not happening. It snowed again last night. All the reflections were replaced with a white sheet of snow covering the ice and river. Hiking down to the river was extremely risky too, especially with gear. There's a lot of snow right now. So I trudged up onto an obscure overlook to shoot some kind of panorama. I was kicking up a foot of nice fluffy dry snow, it was cool for here! I kept hearing voices in my head, but would look all over and not see anyone... After about 30 minutes suddenly two people on horses came up over the ridge. At least I wasn't going crazy! Funny how far sound travels out here.
Lovely image Craig. Well exposed too considering you have all that white stuff on the ground and the sun lighting up the rocks. Would love to see that area at this time of year cloaked in a winter blanket.
