I was wondering when the Mark III refurbs would show up in the store. I was there yesterday and they weren't there. Great price. I just wish I could afford it right now.

I am not questioning the merchandise or the condition of the merchandise at all but a comparison between a brand new price vs. a refurbished price is not quite..... well, the same and fair, right ? That's all the point I am making.

I bought a refurbished 5D II. The only apparent difference was the word 'Refurbished' on the box. This is a great price, but I'll hold out until it's in the $1500 range. Maybe two years.

Shame on you. You guys should have paid much much more for the "new" model that comes with a different box....apparently it somehow works better than the refurb model, don't ask me how though.

What a great deal, especially if you live in a nontaxed or low tax state. Too bad the timing is off for me or I would tell my sis/bro in Hawaii to buy it and ship it to me.
. Like anything else, it is true the price has dropped.
