I had a fun couple this past Saturday, and we came up with this idea for a shot. I had taken the picture of the church a few months ago, and put them together. I hand sketched the scratch marks.

this is one of those pics couples love and photogs will love to bash. yea, its a gimmick, but sometimes customers eat it up.

frankly, it made me chuckle. i wouldn't expect to win awards with it however.

better than average way of showing the typical groom running away shot.

Yeah - its silly but theres nothing wrong with that! Love the scratch marks thru the watermark!

too bad your shot didn't have the whole church in it, that would have been really cool

I agree with the jacket. Groom's expression is perfect. Bride needs to look like she is pulling hard and maybe a little b*tchy expression.
Especially considering it is a composite, the church should be straight, not leaning to left.
One last nit - the heavy shadow on the couple doesn't match the lighting on the church.

The concept is a lot of fun thought and I am positive the couple will really like it!

Yah, I don't like whatever the bride is wearing.

However, this is funny and gave me a chuckle. I can picture myself being this groom. =D

The composition is okay but the bride wearing his jacket sort of kills the look
