Great shot! I use a D700 and a Sigma 15mm in mine.... I wish I had that much light, I'm shooting in small local rinks and it's all 2.8 and 6400 iso...

Thanks for the comments guys.

The camera and PW Plus III sits in a lexan box mounted to the back post.

Here are a couple of more from the same sequence and one includes the posts

Almost a save as the goalie gets a glove on it.

I think that the Waterloo Rec Complex is one of the best lit rinks I have ever been too. It just so happens to be the home of my best client, the Laurier Golden Hawks.

I am not sure if you can see it in the pictures but they have a reflective ceiling over the ice surface. I think that is a HUGE bonus!!!

Built in light reflector....now thats plain showing off !!!!!

I sometimes set up some flashes as well and bounce them off the ceiling.......I am spoiled when I shoot here, then when I go to another local rink I spend the whole game swearing!!!!!!!
