danlona Offline • • Upload & Sell: On p.1 #1 · Dolls :) These are so call Re-born dolls, hand-made and painted by my wife, it takes one week to complete one doll, I guess this gives me a practice on product photography, I find it difficult to captures these cause the light reflects differently on the dolls. They feel real also when you carry them and you can pose them in different ways also for picture taking. danlona Offline • • Upload & Sell: On p.1 #7 · Dolls :) Thanks Bob and cmillc22, yeah she put a lot of care and love in making these dolls, the hair alone takes two days to place one strand at a time, these are made of silicone and painted several layers for the vein, skin color and then textured to mimic real skin, each layer painted goes into an oven to cure the paint permanently to the silicone. No two dolls are alike and each weighs differently anywhere from 5lbs. premie baby to 9 lbs. for a nine months baby. danlona Offline • • Upload & Sell: On p.1 #16 · Dolls :) Thank you fstop and bbourizk, they cost around anywhere from $400 to $1000, depending on the model and some are collectibles and no two dolls are alike, on ebay you can find around $350 to $1000, the most expensive I have seen bidding on eBay crazy as it sound was $23K.
