Well, I had a good time teaching this age, and the kids had good times too. We all worked hard, but we all smiled a lot, also.
One time I was talking about Adolf Hitler (nobody was smiling at this time), and I jumped onto a student's desk half way through the "mini-lecture" (only a quick smile from Willie, the student whose desk I was standing on).
Later, the school principal said he had walked by at that time: "Charlie, I didn't even WANT to know what you were doing."
But he was smiling- he knew that I could be trusted.
