Lots of things behind the model, including the swooping stuff that leads into her head and various things on the floor, wall and even the post on our left. With all the elements to look at, we don't concentrate on the real subject - girl looking out the window to nice trees. A composition where we see her larger in the frame comes to mind. Show her eyes clearly. Maybe we don't need to see all of her - perhaps just from waist up. I'd make sure the area directly behind her face was "clean" - meaning an even area of contrasting colour or texture. Dec 26, 2012 at 07:27 AM

A pretty girl looking into a shop window at Christmas time. Nice turning of the face, graceful body position, etc. I presume she was with you, and between the both of you, she seems to be a good model. Then I look more critically at images. True, there are some problems here- but imo nothing major. I did some basic editing (be aware- I'm no expert), and thought the results helped some.
